Our own infrastructure. One integration.

The TripLink Platform

One platform, built end to end — no third parties bolted on. A single integration issues the card, controls the payment, settles your supplier and returns the data attached.

What is a virtual commercial card?

A commercial card is a payment card issued to a business rather than an individual, used to pay suppliers, cover operational spend and keep that spend visible and controlled.

A virtual commercial card does the same job without the plastic.

  1. 01

    Created digitally

Generated on demand through an API or a portal, at the moment the payment needs to happen.

  2. 02

    Configured

Built for a specific payment, with amount, currency, supplier and validity set at the point of issuing.

  3. 03

    Controlled

Tracked and controlled at transaction level rather than across a whole account.

  4. 04

    Retired

Closed or made unusable once its purpose is complete, which reduces the risk of fraud.

What changes when every payment has its own card

  • 01

    Fraud reduction

Cards carry their own number, so the underlying account is protected. If a transaction is unauthorised or disputed, eligible payments may be recovered through chargeback.

  • 02

    Automated reconciliation

Each card is tied to a specific booking, invoice or claim, enabling payment matching with less manual work.

  • 03

    Real-time control and visibility

Finance teams can set card-level controls and see exactly where, when and how much a card can spend, while it is happening.

  • 04

    Instant issuance

Single or multi-use cards can be created at the moment the money needs to move, rather than days in advance.

How a payment moves through TripLink

Five stages, one platform. Each stage is configurable, and each one runs on our proprietary processing infrastructure, not licensed technology, which is what makes that configuration possible.

  1. A single, well-documented integration point, with workflows configured to how your business already operates.

  2. Credit line or pre-funded balance, funded from multiple locations, with money released when the supplier is paid.

  3. Purpose-built card products, including dedicated hotel and flight products, with API batch issuance for high-volume, repeatable cases.

  4. Authorisation runs end to end on our infrastructure in 300 milliseconds or less, with proprietary 3DS you can set per transaction.

  5. Owning the processing layer means the data is complete, with reports delivered through the portal, by email or by Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
